Racks & Hooks

I've only made 1 rack so far - it was a custom request - but it definitely has my imagination going, and there will be more to come!

The coat hooks are upside-down brake levers mounted on interesting pieces of scrap/pallet wood.

I typically don't drill mounting holes on any of these, as it really depends on where you're going to put them. Ideally, if you can screw the rack or hooks into a wall stud that will of course give you the most secure anchoring. Otherwise (or in addition to) I personally like toggle bolts instead of drywall anchors, as I feel they can be tightened more and provide a stronger support.

The coat hooks sell for $40 to $50, and the bike rack shown sells for $125.
